I forgot to mention. I didn't manage to put on my wedding knit stole the entire night! It's still folded up. So no photos. Maybe I'll put my wedding dress on again at home and get a photo someday. Maybe knitting on that lace piece for four months was a test for Jesper. Like the boyfriend sweater. I think it did put him to the test becasue I was paying so much attention to it, but he passed with flying colors,

First photo I have of me in my wedding dress. This was taken by my dad of White Veil Studios at the Seattle Sculpture Park.

Wedding day is over, we had a ton of fun and really enjoyed every minute of it. I can't wait to see our photos from Amore Studios! Bryan kicked butt as a photographer. We were so impressed.

Today we came home to a house full of pranks. To name a few, our cat has an orange stripe on her head, our bedroom door was locked in a way that had to be entered from a ladder and our bathroom was covered in 700 Dixie cups full of water.

1.5 days until I'm married to Jesper!

This morning had a mild hiccup. My 10:30 nali appt. at the Pro Club was missing from their system, but luckily I will be back there at 12:30. On the bright side, it's giving me time to paint my toes and shower w/o damaging my fresh French manicure.

Today it's all about setting up for our rehersal and dinner.

There is a chance of showers this weekend.

People are commonly asking us how many people are coming to the wedding. With these statistics, what number would you say? Just count adults or adults/kids? Or chairs? Or babies too?

Our stats:
72 adults, 3 babies, 3 toddlers, 3 kids, 4 teenagers
85 "people"

Would you say 85 and count the babies? I keep telling people 80 when they ask. It seems wierd when you can't converse with the babies to count them and we didn't pay for catering for them.

1 week until wedding day!

Today we are recovering from our Bachelorette/Bachelor parties. He had much much more than I did to drink, but I think we're about back to normal. As I type, Jesper's mom is teaching him to make his favorite childhood cake.

This weekend we made sure to chill out a lot. We got the remaining cobblestones in the ground around the sauna and feel good about how it's looking. Sunday was our friend's reception and I had fun snapping photos. They had squirt guns for the kids to play with, this guy pictured zoomed by on a mission.

I picked up my friend Amy's veil to borrow and repaired the ripped off bead trim.

I came up with one last fun project for the wedding. I am going to make Spritz sugar cookies and serve one with each slice of cake. I am going to cut slips of paper with quotes and glue the to the bottoms of the cookies w/ frosting. This will satisfy my urge to bake and craft and kill time until wedding day. I'm looking forward to baking soon.

Last night I made vegan berry brownies, but they were too hot to eat before bed. I know what I'm having while I cook dinner tonight!

Last weekend we went sailing and the weather was fantastic. I didn't take any photos, but Magnus and Jennifer did and you can follow their trip (in Swedish) along the USA westcoast too on their blog.

I came back to Seattle early on Sunday for my bridal shower and had a great time socializing with my friends, it was hot, but we had a good breeze in the house.

The week went by pretty fast and now it's the weekend again and we've just been chilling around the house. Last night we visited our friends who just had a baby and today I made a sun hat (McCalls 5304) for the baby. I hope it fits, she's only 5 weeks old, so it might not fit long, but summer is fairly short and I didn't want it to be too big. It was fun anyway. I sewed it in 2 hours while Jesper watched Wimbelton.

We have no big plans for the weekend, just totally relaxing and not stressing out about anything. My friend Amy is loaning me her wedding veil and I think I am going to try it on with down curled hair. I ordered a Kafka's Kool Tie to wear on wedding day to save me from whining about my hair feeling hot on my neck.
